NOTEWORTHY & NEWS
CJSF APPLICATION NOW OPEN
Attention 8th graders: do you have good grades and have an interest in services oriented projects? Would you like to learn more about college? If so, CJSF might be for you. Click here to apply. The application will close on November 8th. Listen to the bulletin for more information.
Free Online Tutoring
With the start of school off and running, here is a link to a great local resource for students/families: "Adjusting to homework again? We can help with free online tutors for youth and adult learners. Use your SLO Libraries card to get started with Brainfuse."
Crosswalks, Drop-offs & Student Pickup
Students may be dropped off on the sidewalk of Lewis Avenue or West Mall Avenue. Once dropped off students can safely walk through the front gates of the AMS campus. Please be conscientious and patient as we experience a lot of traffic before and after school each day. Crossing guard support is available at the corner of West Mall and Lewis Ave. There are many students crossing the streets and keeping them safe is our top priority. Campus supervision begins at 7:30 am. Offices are open from 7:45 am to 3:45 pm.
XELLO (formerly Career Cruising)

All 6th graders experience the Xello class through our Elective Wheel. 7th & 8th grade students participate in school-counselor led activities throughout the year. Here is the Slides Presentation for 8th graders' most recent lesson:
